Player of the Week

Alumni of the Week

Tim Pomaville, RHP, Concordia University

This week we are going to feature MDBC alumni Tim Pomaville.  Tim was a 5 year player in the Metro Detroit Baseball Club and served as a Pitcher and a 1B.  Tim was one of our top Pitchers to come through the MDBC program, earning wins against a lot of the top teams in the state of Michigan during his time.  Tim graduated high school from Warren Woods Tower in 2018 and is now a 6’6 200lb Pitcher for the Concordia Cardinals and is majoring in Sport and Entertainment Business.  Before the Cardinals 2020 season was cut short to COVID-19, Tim was 2-0 with a 2.57 ERA.  Tim has a very bright future in the Cardinals organization under Coach Zach Johnston.

From day one, Coach McEvoy asks his players to think about the game. If there is a sport in which the smallest things make the difference, baseball is that game. Coach gets players to appreciate technique and game situations at the highest level. He develops future coaches as well as helping kids get the most out of their ability.
